It is our great pleasure to host 6th conference of Nepal Society of Nephrology out of Kathmandu valley for the first time. The theme of this conference is kidney health for all. Though diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease is expanded in almost all provinces of Nepal, kidney disease prevention activities is still limited. Moreover, newly graduated doctors working in different hospitals in and outside valley, are least trained about the recognition of kidney problems and immediate management. So we have organized workshop on dealing with patients with kidney disease to sensitize non-specialized doctors so that the quality of service can be upgraded. Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis nurses are backbone of nephrology care and this conference also aims to update them on nursing care of patients on dialysis.

We are confident that the scientific program in this conference will be highly beneficial to all delegates in upgrading the academic knowledge and clinical approach during patient management.
